MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — After a months-long narcotics investigation, authorities have charged a Mt. Juliet man with felony drug possession.
Detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department's Specialized Investigations Division — with assistance from the Mt. Juliet Police Department, the Wilson County Sheriff's Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area program — have been conducting a narcotics investigation for months.
Following the investigation, 52-year-old Michael Bell of Mt. Juliet was charged with two counts of felony cocaine possession after finding that he was an active drug trafficker "during high-end parties he hosted in Nashville," according to the MNPD.

Wilson County deputies reportedly stopped Bell on Tuesday and discovered mushrooms and cocaine in his vehicle. A search warrant was then executed on his Mt. Juliet home. Cocaine, MDMA, mushroom plants, methamphetamines, THC-infused bars and digital scales were recovered from the residence.
Additionally, MNPD detectives searched his storage unit in Nashville and allegedly recovered half a kilogram, or just over a pound, of cocaine and fentanyl.
As of publication, Bell is being held on a $95,000 bond; however an MNPD press release indicated that more charges are anticipated as the investigation continues.
