U.S. Marshals arrest wanted woman at Hermitage business for violating parole

HERMITAGE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman wanted in Idaho for violating conditions of her parole was taken into custody Friday morning at a Hermitage business, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

A warrant for the arrest of 35-year-old Brittany Marie Wilson was reportedly issued by the State of Idaho Commission of Pardon and Parole on April 30.

Authorities said Wilson was wanted for violating the conditions of her parole after being convicted of sexual abuse, exploitation of vulnerable adults, and video voyeurism.

Earlier this month, officials in Idaho learned that Wilson was residing in the Nashville area, which led them to request assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service Middle Tennessee Fugitive Task Force with finding and apprehending the 35-year-old.

On Friday, May 30, the Middle Tennessee Task Force reportedly found Wilson at a business on Lebanon Pike in Hermitage. She was arrested without incident and taken to Metro Jail.

"The U.S. Marshals Service is committed to protecting the most vulnerable in our communities by apprehending dangerous fugitives," wrote the agency in a release about the arrest.

Records show Wilson was booked on a fugitive from justice charge. She now awaits extradition back to Idaho.

No additional details about the incident were immediately released.
