FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — Neil Young and Crazy Horse are hitting the road in 2024, and they'll be stopping in Franklin as part of it.
The two announced a brand new tour on Tuesday, Feb. 13. The tour will see the bands come to FirstBank Ampitheater on Wednesday, May 8. Other southeastern dates include Huntsville, Ala. on Sunday, May 5, and Alpharetta, Georg. on Tuesday, May 7.
The tour coincides with a brand new album, "F##IN' UP," which features both bands playing songs from their decades-long relationship.
"In the spirit it's offered...made this for the Horse lovers. I can't stop it. The horse is runnin'. What a ride we have. I don't want to mess with the vibe. I am so happy to have this to share," Neil Young said of the new album.
Made up of nine songs on two LPs, the album will be released in limited-edition color vinyl pressing on Record Store Day, April 20, with a wider, all format release starting on April 26.
Tickets for the Love Earth tour will be available through Live Nation starting with presale events before the general on-sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 16. Fans can also opt in to receive a physical CD of the new album with their tickets at no extra cost, if they wish, according to producing partner Live Nation.
